Michael Kolomyjec

Director of Strategy — Employment and Training Services

Michael Kolomyjec is one of the most recognised and respected people in the employment services industry, having helped to establish atWork Australia in 2004. In this national strategy role, Michael is working on several exciting initiatives across MedHealth, including further developing National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) employment opportunities, the MedHealth national employer strategy, and our training strategy.

Previously, Michael had leadership responsibility for one of Australia’s most successful employment services, atWork Australia, empowering job seekers to build better lives through work. Michael has over 30 years’ experience working in the employment services industry, including extensive experience at executive, general and operational management roles.

His education includes a Bachelor of Social Work and Social Administration and a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacology and Biochemistry) from the University of WA. He currently chairs Soul Gestures Inc, a charity focused on inspiring young people to shine. Outside of work, Michael has diverse interests including music, travel, vintage posters, the slow food movement and Perth Glory.
